Φύσις κρύπτεσθαι φιλεῖ

It was during a philosophy class in my freshman year of high school that I first heard the sentence above. Our teacher, Daniel Gaivota, wrote it on the whiteboard and left the room. I'm not entirely sure what the lesson was meant to accomplish, but the sentence has stayed with me ever since.
